Frats

One of my teammates on the club volleyball team asked if me and my friend(who is also on the team) if we wanted to join his frat. He is the president of Alpha Sig. He said that we are two quality guys and thats what is frat is looking for. I love the guy he is a great friend of mine the oppertunity seems great, but I just don't feel the frat life is for me. The biggest issue is the dues for the frat and right now I just don't have the money, and neither does my friend. I do think i will be joining the frat but I have been thinking about it alot.

The ARC

The ARC is a great building. It is probably my favorite place on campus just because I love to play sports and workout. Its a great place to meet kids because there are always basketball and volleyball pick up games going on. It also has the swimming pool as well as a really nice weight room/cardio center. I love the set up with the indoor track above the basketball courts, because it gives you something watch will you run.

Off Campus Living

This is my first year living off campus, and I am enjoying it greatly. I am currently living at the heights with 3 other roommates and if you have never been to the heights, they are pretty nice. They are 3 story apartments that come with 4 bedrooms, and each bedroom has there own bathroom. They are also fully furnished and have a nice kitchen. It is nice to have the independence from the dorm and campus living.

sru volleyball

I'm on the Slippery Rock club volleyball team and last year we had such a shortage of players, we had 8 players on a good day. There was just a lack of interest, as well as our club was not being run very good because our president stepped sown half way through the season. This year however, there is an overwhelming amount of interest which is great, because we now have enough players to field 2 teams. I am pumped for this season and we will defiantly do better than last season. We have a good president and we will be getting knew jerseys and balls which is much needed.
